We started GoTeamsGo for fans who wanted a forum with intelligent, passionate sports chat but without the flaming and personal attacks that you see on most other discussion boards.


Forum Rules

Before you post, please read our short and simple forum rules. Some of the highlights include:

• We're a PG rated forum. We're not a place for kids but we don't allow any extreme vulgar language.
• No personal attacks of other members. Passionate posts are good. Mean spirited posts are not.
• We don't allow free advertising/promotion. Forum spammers stay away.
• No politics or religion, just sports here.

We want to know who you are! Make your 1st post in the Introduce Yourself Forum. Read thru some of the other introductions there to get to know us as well.

About the Community

Our goal is to have a specific message board for each team in the NFL, MLB, NHL & NBA. You'll also find an active NASCAR forum plus forums for most major college teams. Since we're relatively new, some teams don't have a team forum yet. Until we've got their team forum ready, you'll still have a forum where you can talk about them. For example, we don't have a New Orleans Hornets team forum yet but you can chat about them in our main NBA Basketball forum.

Posting Tips

New members can post replies to existing threads but you have to wait a little while before you can start a new thread. The only exception is you can start a thread right now in the Introduce Yourself Forum.

That helps us to keep out some of the bad guys who just want to spam our forums. Join in some existing discussions before you try to start a new thread. To post a reply, you have to be logged in. At the bottom left of a discussion thread, just click the "Post Reply" button. Type your reply in the message box and then hit the "Submit Reply" button. Once you can start a new thread, just click the "New Thread" button from any forum page.

Browsing Tips

Use the "Search" option near the top middle of each page to quickly search through all the thousands of discussions at GoTeamsGo. You can also use the "Advanced Search" option here:

Each page of the site has a set of links near the top left called a "bread crumb trail" that you can use to go up one level from where you are. So if you're reading a thread about the Best NY Yankees blogs, you can jump to any of the forums above that thread by clicking one of the links that look like this:
GoTeamsGo Fan Forum > MLB > American League East > New York Yankees
